sgatazmyMy hit counts on stories is quickly dropping (3x less this month than last). I can’t figure out if it’s that my stories don’t interest people so people see my name and just don’t click or if something else is going on. I feel okay about it, mostly. I already know any migrated fics will get less clicks, but I’m not sure on the story for new fics. I have some readers who seem to kudos each time and that really keeps me going. The comments also help to maintain my squee. I have so many stories in my head I want to write. I just wish I could silence the voice in my head that keeps asking if I am doing something wrong.
I think I do realize that I write too much gen for most of the appetite out there. I just don’t think I am even capable of writing anything explicit, nor am I sure I want to. I will read just about anything, but writing is just a different thing all together.
Anyway, I’m almost finished with the George the Turtle Series revisions. There were so many edits needed but I think it’s a better coherent whole thanks to my betas. I did decide to leave the current ones posted as gen and then I’ll post a new version that is pre-relationship McShep that then leads into John and Rodney’s Wedding Adventure.
