I'm still making headway on my Advent Calendar Fic.

So far, all entries are gen (though one can easily choose for them to be pre-slash). 

Day 1: The Festival Begins (Rodney's POV)

Day 2: John (Christmas - in a mansion)

Day 3: Clone Carson (Hogmanay)

Day 4: Message Speak (Rodney tells ridiculous holiday "memories" while loopy messaging John from the infirmary)

Day 5: Ronon (Satedan winter tradition: The Complaren)

Day 6: Rodney (Christmas Pageant - yeah, he's not a fan)

Day 7: Teyla (Athosian ceremony: The Winter's Light)

Day 8: Aiden (Christmas, includes "ascended" Carson)

Day 9: Radek (Christmas with carp and other Czech traditions)

Day 10: Lorne (Yule)

Day 11: Carson POV (no traditions, Rodney is struggling with the treatments)

Struggling a bit at the moment. I've been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes :( Still, the up side is that I've lost about 28 pounds the last 2-ish months, and am still losing weight. So silver linings, I guess?

I'm hoping to get it into remission. Others have done so, and the nurse I saw is optimistic it will happen for me too. Guess we'll see. The meds might be making me tired (Metformin), we'll see if it's them or lack of iron/B12/other such things after a blood test next week, but at least I don't have to stick my fingers four times a day to get a blood glucose reading! And am safe to drive.

I thought I answered this but apparently not?

That sounds really hard! Hopefully you’ll get it all into remission soon. And hopefully future blood tests look better and you get more energy.
