Two things:

(1) NotTasha wrote a new story! And it’s soooooo good. I am seriously so excited seeing faces from fandom of old sticking their heads back in. I’ve heard from a few others that they are also writing some new stuff.

The new work is a sequel to another story and both are so good. We’re talking Rodney and music. Rodney with kids. Rodney with trauma. Like…..Gaaaaaah

(2) I found this old story of mine that I lightly revised and migrated.  This one is also gen (no relationship).  I love how it’s Rodney in the infirmary but a quiet tone. He has a fever and feels awful, but there’s no crisis feel to any of it.  Nurse Cindy sits with him while his team is away on a rescue mission. Meanwhile, one of his scientists is traumatized and considering resigning.

I shall read them, but possibly not straight away. I've printed them out to read on the train next month, when I go to see a friend of mine. They sound like the perfect thing to while away some of the long journey! :D

Oh perfect! They are all short but I hope fun for a train ride. Tipper plans to post a new gen fic next week, I hear, so maybe you’ll get that on time for the train, too.


I am so excited with all these new fics coming out from writers back in the day and especially gen!
