Okay, I was reading through stories of mine and it got me in a contemplative mood. These questions are a result. I'd love to hear your answers as well! Post on your LJ or in comments.
1. Which of your fanfics is your absolute favorite? Turtle and Rodney's Atlantis Adventure (SGA) I love to go back and read it a million times over because I was so manic when I wrote it. (It's the second in a series of stories)
2. Which of your fanfics is your greatest disappointment? Victory or Death. (SGA) I took it down shortly after having finished. Due to a miscarriage and the story dealing with children I just couldn't handle it anymore. I finished it but only out of necessity and the ending was weak.
3. Which of your fanfics are you the most proud of or amazed by? Between The Lines of Fear and Blame (Psych) I was rereading this today and I was absolutely floored by chapter 5 especially. I can't believe I wrote it and i don't think I will ever be able to write like that again.
4. Is there a fanfic you loved when you wrote it but now you can't stand it? Weakness (SGA) I wrote it in present tense of all things. I was so excited while I wrote it but now I just look back and notice all the flaws.
5. Is there a fanfic you hated when you wrote it but now you love it? One Beer, Two Beer, Three Beer, Floor (Psych) I wrote it in like 15 minutes and thought I was being lazy. I go back now and I enjoy rereading it.
6. What fandom would you most like to write for, but don't at the moment? Stargate Atlantis. I miss writing for this show so much. Can anyone get my SGA muse back, please?
7. What fandom is your favorite to currently write in? Psych. I don't know. It's not my type of fandom really, but it just keeps calling to me...
8. Which of your fanfics was the most challenging to write? Between The Lines of Fear and Blame (Psych) It just about killed me. Some chapters took one week to write and others two months. It was truly insane and difficult and made me want to cry out of frustration.
9. Which of your fanfics was the easiest to write? Before I Sleep (SGA) This one just came to me right away without any effort whatsoever.
10. Do you prefer to write long or short stories? Both. It's whatever my muse chooses. She's in control, not me. :)
