Oh! I just realized I forgot to post about my other awesome gift from the other sga secret Santa fic exchange. I was so lucky to have Mas write for me! They are a wonderful writer and friend and their fics are always special and awesome.

This one is especially awesome as it focused on Rodney as autistic and dealing with the holidays. It's a wonderful twist on A Christmas Carol. I love how soft this is with McKay and how it understands his struggles with parties. The team is wonderful in how they help him with this.  Such a treasure of a fic.

 The SGA Secret Santa 2024 reveals have occurred.  I got assigned cassiope25 who is my fandom bestie and I plan everything with. The only way to throw her off the scent, knowing I'd probably already given myself away, was subterfuge. So I wrote a decoy fic with acrowb based on fake prompts from thejademare.

The actual fic I wrote for cassiope25 :

Rodney isn't happy he got assigned Cadman for the secret Santa exchange. John isn't happy that Rodney won't let him sleep.

Unrelenting Blizzard (gen, Ronon and Rodney friendship, hurt/comfort)

Ronon and Rodney are trapped in a blizzard. Ronon is sick. There is a worrying rattle to his cough.

 I wrote this for cassiope25  and I am so insanely excited about the artwork anonymous made for it.  So excited, I made some of it my icon. I went all out manic writing this, including so many of Cass's and my favorite tropes. It's short, dialogue only, which is not usually my thing these days, but why not? It's all gossip outsider POV so I think it's all good.

There's not much to talk about the process on this one. I just listed out Cass's favorite things and then tried to encompass them in the most ludicrous ways possible. 

No real warnings here, but there are tentacle monster jokes...

 I’m so excited for this podfic project where many of us from around the world are reading a story from dedkake’s SGA series “It  Could’ve Started Like This” for the romancingmcshep  fest.  Tipper, Wonky Elk, melagan, Mas_Pebbles_Sharp, Itstartedwithalex, cassiope25, and so my others of my favorite authors/creators are taking part!  It’s going to be so awesome hearing the voices of people I know so well from fandom. Mine won’t be out for a bit but the first two podfics have been posted.
