Writing Goals
Sep. 19th, 2014 07:54 amMy life is going to be crazy busy over the next three months. I figure I won't have time for much so I should schedule in some light writing goals:
Write 500-1,000 words a day. (Let's be honest, I don't have much time to do more.)
Spend at least two days of the week free writing original stuff. This counts towards the 1,000 words and is just good practice.
Read quality literature. For this three months, and given how slow a reader I am, my goal is to finish Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson and The Assassins Apprentice by Robin Hobb.
Outline crazy big story over the next few weeks. Don't allow insecurities to keep me from writing the story. Continue brainstorming with
greyias to keep the fun alive.
Watch more SGA.
I think those goals should be doable.
In other thoughts, I am considering the fact that I should probably move to dreamwidth where everyone else seems to be. I did create a journal there but I've never tried writing there or cross-posting. Should I?
