Adrift thoughts

 One of my absolute favorite parts of SGA is in Adrift when Rodney activates the nanites to save Elizabeth and Sheppard is all kinds of pissed. I often wonder what would have happened if Elizabeth hadn’t woken up right then.  Would Rodney have acquiesced or made Sheppard use the EMP gun? Or would Rodney have fought back even harder?  I really want to see the moment and how they get through it but the writers took the easy out here. Maybe when I have time again I will write a canon divergence scene where Elizabeth doesn’t wake up yet and Rodney and John have finish their face off.  I don’t have time, though, and i can’t find the fic I want to read!  😭
