sgatazmy I finished Agent Carter!
For some reason, watching this show is brining me to thinking about SGA more and I'm not really sure why or how they are even connected. Instead of imagining lots of agent carter scenarios, I find myself imagining lots of SGA scenarios.
Either way, I love this show. I do feel this season was far weaker than last season and I could have done without the "will they, won't they" fall back that all writers seem to fall back on for female characters (grrrr). Overall, however, it was lots of fun.
The ending! Ah! The ending makes me crazy. They can't leave it there! I've heard the ratings were really low so it's unlikely to be renewed and this is completely not okay given that ending! I'm assuming there's a load of fic I can catch up on that will take over and make it all okay, right?
I thought the way they played Jack in this season was a bit too repetitive of last. It was almost like he moved back in his growth only to come back to the exact same place he was before. However, I do love how they played him at the end as the character willing to follow through with what he felt had to be done. Honestly, I'm not entirely sure he was wrong on that front either.
Jarvis was lots of fun this season. I enjoyed seeing him so much and all the angst/adventure/love.
So to summarize these completely staggered, incoherent thoughts: I love this show. :)
