fic I want to read

 In the song Time To Be Awesome, Rainbow Dash sings:

I know this world can get you down
Things don’t work out the way that you thought
Feeling like your best days are done
Your fears and doubts are all you’ve got




Question:   When has Rainbow Dash ever felt this way? It seems like a  good story hidden in these lines.  I know fanfic loves to make Rainbow suffer enough already, but I still want to read stories based on this prompt.  And I want it to actually have Rainbow in character as so many of these types of fics seem to lose sight of her personality.

Rainbow Dash felt this way during the Young Fliers competition and when the Mysterious Mare Do Well was stealing her thunder.
