 I wrote my short flutterdash story and posted it.  It's gotten a decent reception so I am feeling better.  I still feel it is weird that I wrote preship, but hey, apparently I can do a decent job at it.

The big shocker?  This morning I drew a picture of Fluttershy on the cloud upset. My daughter saw it and I told her that it would be better if it had Rainbow Dash but I wasn't able to figure out how to do that yet. I didn't tell her why or what my story was about but she ended up drawing me a picture (points to icon) and it couldn't have been a better fit for my story!  So now it's my cover art for my story despite not being colored in.  It was just too perfect to resist.

Oh, and it turns out I really enjoyed writing this preship.

Maybe today I'll show her how to use photoshop to color in the picture.  :)

Read it! 8^) I found two knits, the first, where Fluttershy replies:

"Exactly. Whether you like mares, stallions, or both isn’t going to change how any of us think of you."

Given Fluttershy's emotional state, I think the statement is too assertive. I'd go for something softer, like:

“The girls said the same thing. Whether you like mares, stallions, or both isn’t going to change how any of them think of you. Nor will it change how I think of you.”

The other knit is that the night was very short! Fluttershy drifts off to sleep after a short conversation and already Celestia has pulled the sun up above the horizon. I think something is needed show the passage of time, like things happening overhead or down on the ground below, Fluttershy twitching while she dreams, touching on the thoughts that are keeping Rainbow awake...
