Catching Up

 So I have been exclusively pumping for my newborn (so stressful!) which has given me extreme amounts of time to catch up on shows.  

(1) Doctor Who:  I'm caught up except for the most recent Christmas special. I think Capaldi is now my favorite doctor of all time.  He's a return to the doctor solving his own problem in peaceful ways while still remaining haunted from past decisions.  I especially loved the theme of the last season: "Without hope. Without witness. Without reward." I'm really sad to see Capaldi go.  (Bill as a cyberman just about killed me!)

(2) Orville:  It took me a long time but I finally finished the first season!  It definitely got better toward the end.  I feel more invested in the characters and it's not quite so over the top anymore in crudity and absurdity.  

(3) My Little Pony: I feel like I was promised a lot more music?  Where is all the music?  Still, I am enjoying most of the season.  Nothing particular stands out to talk about.  I just want more music!


So what should I catch up on next?

I am caught up on steven Universe as well. And....


Wow!!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t even know where to begin. I keep waiting for my friends to catch up and it is so hard not to spoil them. I feel like the show has come full circle and it just makes sense how it all played out. I can’t wait to see how the white diamond arc plays out.

Here you are! I've returned to LJ after a VERY long absence, but my friends were all gone! But I found you here...and look at you! you have a little one! Very exciting. Hope you'll follow me back; I'll probably cross-post here for a while until I figure out where to land.
