I'm still feeling wiped at times, though beginning to see improvements here and there. Not sure if it was a full hysterectomy that you had (memory fail, sorry), but if it was, apparently it can take several months for the hormones to settle... *impatient sigh* I shall be so glad when I, hopefully, start to feel more like myself again!
They left one ovary but took the rest. So I still have my hormones.
I hear it is much harder to recover if they take both ovaries.
The hysterectomy was considered the minor surgery compared to the rest though. They removed some flesh in order to rebuild walls and make a pelvic sling. There was a lot of repair needed. I’m told that was major surgery. But I think I am mostly recovered now? But yeah, energy levels are still low.
Your operation sounds a lot more involved than mine *hugs* It can take a while for bodies to recover from the stress and shock of it all, but let's hope you feel less tired soon, as feeling tired all the time isn't fun *mega hugs*
Unfortunately for me, they had to take it all, due to the womb cancer. But fortunately for me, they caught that really early and I don't need radiotherapy etc. So yeah, it's taking longer than I'd hoped :(
